SkinTone AI (“the App”) is developed and operated by Thing Apps (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with, and what control you have over it.

1. Summary

SkinTone AI turns a selfie into a personal colour and styling report. That means the App handles a photograph of your face, which is the most sensitive thing it touches. The short version of how we treat it:

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or social account.
Your account is anonymous and exists only to hold your purchases and reports.
Your selfie is sent to a third-party AI service to generate your report, and is deleted from our storage after the report succeeds.
We do not create a faceprint, biometric template, or any identifier derived from your face, and we do not use your photo to recognise or identify you.
We run no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no trackers of any kind. Nothing about your use of the App is sent to a third-party analytics service. We keep a small number of anonymous product counters on our own servers, described in section 2.2.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

If you email support, the App pre-fills the message with your app version, build number, platform, and OS version so that we can reproduce the problem. You can delete any of that before sending. Your email address becomes known to us only because you chose to write to us.

2.2 Information created automatically
